KITCHEN IN YOUR FLIGHT

One of the main task of a cabin crew is to handle the food and drinks of passengers and pilot.

A cabin crew is trained to prepare the food and drink. If you can imagine a long 13 hours flight, the passengers are served with 3 meals, the diner, breakfast and lunch. On top of these, the tidbits and drinks.

The preparation and services consume the majority of the crews time, probably about 80%. Aircraft are equipped with the modern kitchens known as galleys. Galleys are equipped with cooled storage areas, heating and cooking ovens, water boilers and spaces to prepare the food.

The video makes it look easy, but if you have to do it at 4 am, for 100 passengers, it does get to become a tough job.
