A new charter airline in Malaysia, the eaglepress, is in the making. Positions are available including the cabin crew positions.

It is still at the initial stage of filling the critical post. There are a number of post that is necessary to be manned by a qualified persons and approved by the authority . Such post is for positions that effect the safety of the aircraft and the operation such as the chief pilot and quality manager.

There will be vacancies for cabin crews. This is one of the few positions cannot be outsourced to another organisation. Other positions can be given to other organisations. The booking of the tickets can be done easily through the internet, the services of check-in at the airport can be done by the service agents and even the pilotings can be subcontracted.

The opportunities is wide open for Malaysian to view the vacancy and apply for the job of cabin crew. As it is a new airline, there is always the concern about the future of the airline. We can see many are having the financial problems, like the kingfisher in India and even the local Transmile.

It is noted that many of the cabin crew operations in malaysia has the origins from MAS, malaysia airlines. This is not surprising as most of the senior positions for cabin crews are filled by ex-MAS personnel.
